2011 Surfer's Walk of Fame Inductees: Rice, Mobley

Tom Rice and Richard Mobley will be inducted into the Hermosa Beach Surfer's Walk of Fame, according to a notice on the city's website.

The men will be honored in a special ceremony Saturday, April 9, at the Hermosa Beach Pier as part of this year's induction ceremony (see accompanying public invitation under photo).

The Surfer's Walk of Fame, which lines of the Pier with bronze plaques in honor of surf legends, commemorates the sport as a part of Hermosa Beach's rich heritage.
