City Asks Residents to Take Readiness Survey

The has launched its third abbreviated survey to determine how residents might respond to a major disaster hitting the area.

The panel developed the HB Ready Pulse in 2009 as part of this assessment—to get a "Pulse" of Hermosans' readiness.

Completing this year's survey will help the city measure resident readiness levels, which then allows officials to further develop a readiness campaign to encourage community-wide preparedness.

All Hermosa Beach residents can take the 21-question survey online.
