The in a City Council meeting Tuesday night presented a check totaling $17,147, which will be split among five local nonprofit organizations:
- The Beach Cities Toy Drive
- HB Friends of the Park
- HB Historical Society
- HB Rotary
- HB Sister City program
The nonprofits were on hand to accept the ceremonial big check, which reflected the money raised at the Beer and Wine Garden during the Labor Day Fiesta Hermosa.
