Hermosa Beach resident CERT and emergency volunteers are hosting a disaster preparedness drill for the community.
Volunteers are needed to work the event—and residents are needed to attend and register.
There will be a simulated earthquake drill in the South Bay area, and the city will participate by running an emergency volunteer sign-in and a practice shelter drill.
