Hermosa Man Retires as Counseling4Kids Board President

From the Counseling4Kids nonprofit organization:

Greg Less, after serving on Counseling4Kids Board of Directors for nine years, retires from his dedicated service.

A resident of Hermosa Beach, Less joined the board in 2003 and provided key leadership for the agency in accomplishing its mission.

He helped expand key programs and continually improved the quality of care delivered to foster care children throughout Los Angeles County.

He is succeeded by Art Chaparro, elected at the January annual board meeting.

Less, the business development and marketing manager at Jacobs Engineering, provided key expertise in finance, marketing and executive leadership.

During his tenure, Less served as board member, finance chairman and most recently board president.

"We are honored by Greg’s dedication and service. Counseling4Kids is recognized as a leader in trauma treatment for foster children due in large part to the passion and the vision he held. I am honored to have worked so closely with him," said Richard Burrell, executive director.

Counseling4Kids provides effective mental health services to abused and neglected children and youth in the foster care system throughout Los Angeles County.
