Hermosa Valley School is in the process of designing the 2011-2012 school schedule, and looking into creating semester-long elective classes or a full year of Spanish These classes would be offered to students during the regular school day.
But, the 2011-2012 school budget has not been finalized or approved. This means that middle school electives have not been funded for the school year.
The Hermosa Beach School Board is expected to approve the budget by June 29. With this in mind, Hermosa Valley is going forward and planning elective classes should the budget allow. See accompanying document.
