Crown Jewel Club, a nonprofit empowering at-risk girls with etiquette and social skills, will hold its on Friday, Feb. 17 from 5 to 10 p.m. at The Comedy and Magic Club in Hermosa Beach.
Hosted by Emmy award-winning KTLA journalist Wendy Burch, the event will feature silent and live auctions, comedic performances and dinner.
Last year’s event raised more than $30,000 and allowed Crown Jewel Club to continue its efforts in educating young women via its seven-week after-school program, which takes place at schools in East Los Angeles.
