Manhattan Beach Sand and Surf Girls Under 8 (GU8) Club team were Gold Medal Champions at the South County Premier Cup soccer tournament held in San Juan Capistrano on June 4 and 5.
The Finals game went into double overtime, and the girls won in Penalty Kicks under the coaching of Hermosa Beach resident James Gilligan.
