The Hermosa schools' grants online at the donorschoose.org website were funded the day the request was sent out to the community, according to an e-mail sent from the Hermosa Beach City School District.
"We would like to thank all the parents and community members who stepped up with such a quick response and funded the programs," the e-mail reads.
