The dance competition series So You Think You Can Dance kicks off its ninth season with auditions beginning next year, and Hermosa Beach dancers are invited to audition for the show Friday, March 2, at the Orpheum Theatre* in Los Angeles.
Stand-out performers will be given a ticket to Las Vegas for callbacks, where they will work with top choreographers to learn routines and then be judged on multiple styles of dance.
So You Think You Can Dance was created by Simon Fuller and Nigel Lythgoe as an unscripted series showcasing talented dancers—skilled in everything from Ballet, Breaking, Krumping and Salsa to Swing, Tap and Contemporary Jazz—competing for the title of America’s Favorite Dancer.
