Dunk a Cop at the Hometown Fair
Money collected from the dunk tank will go to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Dunk law enforcement personnel at the 41st Annual Hometown Fair this weekend when area agencies join forces to present a dunk tank to raise funds for the Wounded Warrior Project.
Personnel from the Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, El Segundo and Torrance police departments and Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department will participate in the dunk tank. Staff names will be posted at the event location.
The dunk tank will be located in front of the tennis courts along Valley Drive and will be open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, according to Stephanie Martin of the Manhattan Beach Police Department.

The cost to take aim at dunking a cop is $5 for 3 balls. “Dunked With Honor” T-shirts will be given to those who dunk a cop.
All proceeds from the dunk tank will go to the Wounded Warrior Project, said Martin.
