Hermosa Beach Attempted Robberies Suspects Arrested
A 19-year-old El Segundo man and three others, believed to be El Segundo High students, were booked on various felonies, police said.

HERMOSA BEACH, CA -- Four men and a boy were arrested Monday morning on suspicion of committing a series of attempted robberies in the South Bay, police said.
The suspected attempted robberies happened in Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach and Hawthorne late Sunday night and early Monday morning, police said. Victims in the attempted robberies said the suspects attempted to rob them using a stun gun, the Manhattan Beach Police Department said.
A bulletin was sent out to all South Bay police agencies with the description of the vehicle and suspect, according to MBPD. An El Segundo police officer patrolling near Grand Avenue and Vista Del Mar about 1 a.m. saw a car matching the description of one used in the crimes and conducted a traffic stop.

"A search of the vehicle revealed ski masks, a clown mask, stun devices, an Airsoft plastic gun and brass knuckles," according to an El Segundo police statement.
Manhattan Beach officers were notified, and they arrested the suspects on suspicion of robbery.

The adult suspects were identified as 19-year-old Marco Gomez and 18- year-old Jensen Sanchez, both of Los Angeles, and 18-year-old Marc Cooper of Hawthorne. A fourth was a juvenile. Police withheld the juvenile suspect's name and age.
The four were booked at the Manhattan Beach jail on various felonies, police said.
