Hermosa Beach Farmers Market Hours Changing
The change was to the accommodate locals who work outside Hermosa Beach or can't step away during work hours, the HBCCVB said.

HERMOSA BEACH, CA -- The Hermosa Beach Farmers Market at Pier Plaza will have new operating hours starting next Wednesday, the Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau announced.
The new hours will be from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., a change from the market's previous hours of 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The change was to the accommodate locals who work outside Hermosa Beach or can't step away during work hours, the Chamber said.
"This new time allows people to still frequent the weekly event during their lunch hour or swing by on their way home from work," said Kimberlee MacMullan, spokeswoman for the Chamber. "It’s also a great opportunity for children and parents to shop for healthy snacks after school."

The market at the plaza has been in operation since the fall of 2015. Around 80 percent of the approximately 30 vendors provide farm-fresh items or prepared food to please everyone’s palate, MacMullan said.
"Shoppers can find delicious food from nearly a dozen farms -- even organic growers," she said. Some are local and others travel as far as 200 miles to participate in our charming market."

There is a colorful variety of seasonal California produce, including anything from succulent strawberries to nutrient-dense microgreens, crisp apples and sweet oranges at the market, according to the Chamber.
There is also grass-fed meat, eggs from pasture-raised chickens, bone broth, nut butters, a wide variety of hummus, sauces, yogurts and dips, balsamic oils, fresh-baked breads and beautiful flowers, the Chamber said.
