Hermosa Beach Offering Free Child Safety Seat Checkup Friday
The event will also cover changes in California laws regarding child safety seats.

More than 90 percent of child safety seats inspected at checkups are being used incorrectly, police said.
Children involved in car crashes run a great risk of serious injury or death, police said. A properly installed child safety seat can greatly reduce these factors.
