Hermosa Beach Runner Wins Women's Division at Redondo Beach Super Bowl 10K Race

REDONDO BEACH, CA -- A Hermosa Beach runner won the women's division at the 39th annual Redondo Beach Super Bowl 10K race Sunday.

Savannah Pio, of Hermosa Beach, won the women's division with a time of 33 minutes and 43 seconds. David Cardona, 25, who was a former North Torrance High and El Camino College standout, was first to cross the finish line with a time of 32:09.

Stewart Harwell, 32, of Redondo Beach was second in the men's division with a time of 33:23. In third place was 18-year-old Carson Bix, who came in with a time of 33:37.

In the women's division, Ingrid Walters, 45, of Santa Monica, was second with a time of 39 minutes flat. Katherine McKellar, 28, of Redondo Beach was third with 39:58.

Approximately 8,000 runners participated in the race, which was hosted by the Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau.
