The Mayor and Hermosa Beach City School District Board President Margaret Bove-LaMonica will be at the parkette on that day to listen to community members and provide updates on Park Restroom upgrades and other City projects, as well as other matters of interest to participants. Participants will also be asked to join the Mayor and School Board President in a community cleanup by picking up trash at the parkette and the surrounding area.

The Mayor said he plans to hold the monthly gatherings on the last Saturday morning of each month at different locations around the City and with different participants. Residents are encouraged to bring their own gloves and paper bags for gathering litter.
