Police Blotter: 2 CVS Thefts

Items stolen from two CVS stores in Hermosa Beach on the same day.

Cosmetic items worth more than $1,000 were stolen from the CVS on PCH, and then just two hours later, merchandise was stolen from the CVS on Pier Avenue.

A suspect got away with $1,386.56 worth of makeup from the CVS store on PCH on March 26, according to police reports. The suspect stole the cosmetic items around 12:39 p.m. and fled to an unknown location.

Just a couple of hours later, around 2 p.m., personal hygiene items worth $385.88 were stolen from the CVS on Pier Avenue. The suspect in that theft fled the store on foot, heading southbound on PCH, according to police.

TVs Taken

A business on the 700 block of Pier Avenue told police that someone had snatched two flat screen TVs from the store on March 29. The thief took the items without paying at 8:22 p.m., according to police reports.
