Week in Review: Schools and St. Patrick's Day Plans

A third tennis court is coming to the beach, and Hermosa prepares to host its annual St. Patrick’s Day parade.

Charter Hermosa?

In the wake of the Hermosa Beach City School District’s budget crisis, Hermosa resident and father Russell Wilson launched an online website to “Save Hermosa's Schools.” He  Monday on Patch.

Beach Tennis Court

The City Council has at 14th Street and the Strand. The court will join two others in the area.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The Chamber of Commerce is now sponsoring , which has been a part of the Hermosa Beach community since 1995. The festivity hits town March 12.

Read Across America

Hermosa View and Valley schools participated Wednesday in the nationwide Read Across America initiative, which the National Education Association organized on Dr. Seuss’ birthday—.
