• Hesperia man arrested in connection with shooting of woman in Barstow (vvdailypress.com) — Hesperia residents should know that a 22-year-old local man was arrested at a home on Willow Street in connection with a November shooting that critically injured a woman in Barstow. Authorities say detectives used witness interviews and surveillance footage to identify the suspect, who is being held on $500,000 bail while the victim’s current condition remains undisclosed.
