Artichoke to Play at Highland Park Farmers' Market
Artichoke is in season at the Old L.A. Certified Farmers' Market tonight.

Though the leafy vegetable doesn't reach peak production until springtime, Highland Park's resident indie-rockers will ensure there's plenty of Artichoke on display at Tuesday evening's .
Artichoke will dispense their family friendly style of indie-rock starting at 7 p.m. during the weekly farmers' market.
The group's 2010 album, Bees, features 13 indie-pop tracks about the lives of the persistent pollinators--fitting fare for farmers' market.

The Old LA Farmers' Market takes place every Tuesday form 3-8 p.m. at the corner of Ave. 58 and Marmion Way in Highland Park year round. The market offers fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables, prepared hot foods, packaged foods, and a variety of arts and crafts, as well as a children's area. The Metro Gold Line Highland Park station is just next door, making for easy access.
