Hit and Run Victims Ask Community to Be on Lookout for Silver Corvette

Victims are calling on neighborhood to be on the lookout for the suspects' car.

A pair of cars parked on Division Street were totaled on Saturday morning, after two men driving a silver Corvette crashed into them and then sped away, according to witnesses.

"I was asleep, but a neighbor heard the crash and came outside around 3 a.m. and saw a silver Corvette speed off after hitting my parked truck and my neighbor's car," said David Stinett, owner of one of the trucks damaged in the crash. "We know it was a silver Corvette because their front bumper got ripped off, and they left it behind."

Stinett said that both his and his neighbor's car have been rendered completely undriveable as a result of the accident. He's asking that anyone who sees a silver Corvette with front-end damage contact Officer Ko of LAPD Central Traffic Division at 213-972-1811.
