Today, we highlight some great local boutiques where you can shop for shoes, shades or get down with your crafty self. Check em out!

Andrea's specializes in boutique women's shoes. If you're looking to buy your girlfriend some platforms or you're a lady in need of heels for the prom dance, this is a good place to start. With a selection of flashy and simple designs, Andrea's sells stylish footwear without brand name exorbitant prices.

Studio Root 66 is a boutique store that specializes in local and handmade items from Los Angeles artists, from jewelry to children's clothing. You'll find unique pottery, soaps, candles and pet goods in this homey and serene shop. The store also sells a line of original organic jellies; one of the most popular flavors is Hellfire Pepper.

At Jet the Pilot is a craft shop and boutique populated with mythical characters created by a creative staff. Patrons can work with Jet the Pilot's designs, or bring their own. The boutique offers gifts for babies, kids, pets, teens, and adults and fun workshops for all ages held weekly

Since 1997, this shop is known for its year-round hands-on weaving classes, where students learn how to make their own tapestries and Persian rugs on a loom. In addition to yarn, knitting and weaving supplies and accessories, Pets with Fez also carries a unique, colorful selection of antiques, collectibles, small gifts, vintage items, artwork and imports.
● Society of the Spectacle
Run by a pair of Highland Park sisters with a passion for eyeware, Society of the Spectacle dubs itself an "enticing emporium for the senses." The shop offers a broad range of eyeglass and shades, as well as a revolving selection of nifty craft items.
