Christopher Nolan's "Dunkirk" portrays the miraculous 1940 rescue mission that ultimately saved thousands of British, French and other Allied soldiers trapped on the beaches of Dunkirk, France, by Nazi troops. Sound too straightforward of a story? Think again. "Dunkirk" was shot entirely on large-scale IMAX film stock, so it's safe to say that this flick will offer more than meets the eye.

From Luc Besson, the visionary director of "The Fifth Element" and "Lucy," comes this comic book-inspired sci-fi adventure based on the classic graphic novel series "Valerian and Laureline."
