Nominate a Remarkable Woman for the 6th Annual "Tribute to SHeroes" Awards

There's one more week left to nominate a woman to be honored by Senator Curren Price. 

The nomination period is Monday, February 27, 2012 – Wednesday, March 21, 2012 @ 5pm.

In honor of Women’s History Month, Senator Price is soliciting nominations of remarkable women who reside in the 26^th Senate District.

Senator Price will select 26 SHeroes, the honorees will be announced in the beginning of April and will be honored at a special ceremony in May 2012.

A “SHero” is a woman who has demonstrated leadership, pride, volunteerism and commitment to her community in a remarkable manner.

Ideal nominees are neighborhood activists, artists, and community and business leaders - women who make a substantive difference in the lives of others

but may not always be recognized for their contributions. 

To nominate a “SHero” from your community, please complete both sides of the nomination form. (Nomination form Attached).

Nominees must live in the 26th Senate District.
