Arrest Made In Hate-Fueled Robbery Of Three Transgender Women
LAPD is still investigating the incident and more suspects might still be taken into custody.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — An arrest has been made in connection to the violent robbery of three transgender women in Hollywood. Footage of the incident showed the three women being attacked both physically and verbally, and instantly sparked outrage on social media.
Los Angeles Police Department announced on Thursday that they had arrested 29-year-old Carlton Calloway for his role in the attack. No other information regarding Calloway or other suspects was revealed.
The incident is being treated as a hate crime, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. An investigation is still ongoing and more suspects may still be taken into custody.

Eden The Doll, Jaslyn Whiterose and Josyln Flawless, the three victims, have all been outspoken in the days following the attack.
"He held a crow bar to my face and threatened to kill me unless I stripped my shoes off and gave him my jewelry and all my processions," Eden wrote about the incident on Instagram. "He said if i was trans he would kill me."

In the video, a group of men continuously threaten the women and steal their possessions, at one point taking a woman's phone and demanding money to return it. Eventually a man sneaks up behind Whiterose and strikes her in the head, causing her to pass out on the curb.
An LAPD squad car eventually approaches with its siren on as the woman lies motionless. The car stops for a brief moment, and then drives off without investigating the scene.
LAPD said they are also investigating the response of the officers and whether or not they realized what was going on.
