Bicyclist Killed In Fountain Avenue Hit-And-Run Crash
A bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Fountain Avenue Friday night.
WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA — A bicyclist was killed Thursday night in a hit-and-run crash on Fountain Avenue.
The victim was struck by an older white BMW sedan at around 9:45 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Fountain Avenue and Gardner Street in West Hollywood, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Investigators said the cyclist was heading west on Fountain when he was struck by the car that was traveling in the same direction.

The BMW did not stop. Deputies said the car is likely to have a smashed windshield, with the damage centered around the passenger side, due to the collision.
The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
