Bomb Squad Responds After Suspicious Package Found On Metro Tracks: Report
Metro halted train service between two rail stations due to police activity Wednesday morning, the agency said.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — A bomb squad responded to a Metro station in Hollywood Wednesday morning after a "suspicious package" was found on the subway tracks, KTLA reported.
The incident was reported at around 8:45 a.m. at the Hollywood/Vine B (Red) Line station, according to KTLA. The Los Angeles Police Department's bomb squad responded and closed off a portion of Hollywood Boulevard to investigate, KCAL reported.
Train service was halted between Hollywood/Highland and Hollywood/Western stations due to police activity. Metro dispatched buses to transport passengers and was advising riders to consider bus line 217 as an alternative, the agency said.

By 9:45 a.m., police gave the all-clear and normal service was set to resume on the line, Metro said.
