Boo's Philly Cheesesteaks To Shut Down Original Location After 14 Years

The steak-and-cheese favorite is shutting down its original location.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Boo’s Philly Cheesesteaks will close its Fountain Avenue location next month.

The restaurant opened 14 years ago at the corner of Fountain and Virgil avenues. Its last day in business will be Saturday, Oct. 4, according to a social media post.

"What an amazing journey!! But some journeys ultimately have to come an end in order to move forward," the post reads.

Boo's other location, on Wilshire Boulevard in Koreatown, will remain open. It will also continue to offer delivery out of a kitchen in Echo Park.
