Cinerama Dome's Reopening Delayed Once Again: Report
The reopening of the Cinerama Dome and adjacent former Arclight Cinemas has been delayed once again.
HOLLYWOOD, CA — Shuttered since the pandemic, the legendary Cinerama Dome's reopening has been delayed once again. The theater is now set to reopen in 2025, Deadline reported.
The trade publication reported that the delay is due to the redesign of the property, which also includes the adjacent former Arclight Cinemas, restaurants and event space.
The dome and Arclight's owner Pacific Theatres in 2021 shuttered its theater locations around the country as it went into Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
