Crews Contain Hollywood Hills Grass Fire Along 101 Freeway

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Firefighters in the Hollywood Hills knocked down a small grass fire Saturday along the Hollywood (101) Freeway.

No structures were threatened and additional engines were required due to lack of water supply near the freeway, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Firefighters would remain on the scene for approximately an hour to mop up, she said.

No injuries were reported.
