Firefighters Knock Down Heavy House Fire In Hollywood Hills

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Los Angeles firefighters knocked down a fire at a one-story Hollywood Hills home Thursday night, authorities said. No injuries were reported.

"A total of 32 firefighters performed a coordinated attack, between interior fire attack and rooftop ventilation, to extinguish the flames in 23 minutes," according to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The structure fire was reported about 4:16 p.m. Thursday at 1722 North Stanley Avenue, just north of Hollywood Boulevard, Prange said.
