'Grease' Star Olivia Newton-John Dies At 73
Actress and singer Olivia Newton-John died at 73 years old, her husband announced to Facebook Monday afternoon.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Olivia Newton-John died Monday morning at 73-years-old, her husband announced in a Facebook post.
The star died at her ranch in Southern California Monday morning after a public battle with breast cancer, John Easterling, Newton-John's husband, said in a Facebook post.
"Olivia has been a symbol of triumphs and hope for over 30 years sharing her journey with breast cancer. Her healing inspiration and pioneering experience with plant medicine continues with the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, dedicated to researching plant medicine and cancer," Easterling said.

Best known for her role as Sandy in the iconic 1978 film "Grease," Newton-John had roughly 50 year career in the movie, music and TV industries. She also created hit songs like "If Not for You," "Have You Never Been Mellow" and "Physical."
Newton-John was born in Cambridge, England in 1948, according to the superstar's IMDB.
"In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made in her memory to the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund (ONJFoundationFund.org)," Easterling said in a Facebook post.
