Heather Locklear In Hospital After Arrest: Report

THOUSAND OAKS, CA -- Actress Healther Locklear was reportedly transported to a hospital Monday afternoon, a day after she was arrested for allegedly kicking a Ventura County deputy. TMZ reported authorities responded to her Thousand Oaks home after receiving a call about an overdose.

"Our sources said she planned to voluntarily check herself in for treatment. It appears she did not go voluntarily, after all ... but we're told she is getting treatment now," TMZ reported.

Over the weekend, the Melrose Place star was arrested after deputies responded to a report of a disturbance at her home.

Locklear was allegedly in a disturbance with another person and she kicked a deputy who arrived at the scene, according to the Ventura County Sheriff's Department. Officials described her as intoxicated and uncooperative with authorities who arrested her two misdemeanor counts of battery on emergency personnel.

TMZ reported she posted a $20,000 bail following the arrest before being transported to the hospital.
