Hiker Knocked Unconscious In Hollywood Hills Fall
The Los Angeles Fire Department airlifted a hiker who was knock unconscious in a fall down steep terrain in the Hollywood Hills.

HOLLYWOOD HILLS, CA — A hiker was airlifted to safety Saturday after she fell an unknown distance on the steep, rocky terrain and was unconscious, authorities said Saturday.
The fall was reported at 1:26 p.m. in the 3200 block of Canyon Dr., Los Angeles fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey said.
Firefighters located the injured woman and her companion and both were airlifted to a helispot in Griffith Park where paramedics on the ground took the injured woman to a hospital by ground ambulance. Her uninjured female companion was taken by ground vehicle to her vehicle at their point of entry into the park, Humphrey said.
