'Unknown Substance' At Sober Living Home Leaves 6 Hospitalized In SFV
An additional 11 people were exposed to the substance but released on scene, according to officials.
TARZANA, CA — Exposure to an "unknown substance" left six people at a Tarzana sober-living home hospitalized Monday, fire officials say.
More than a dozen people were exposed to the substance at the home in the 1800 block of Cassandra Street, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
Fire rescuers arrived shortly after 2 p.m., and six people were taken to a hospital in fair condition, officials said. An additional 11 people were exposed to the substance but "decontaminated and released on scene," according to officials.
