Hollywood DMV To Open An Hour Earlier Starting July 1

HOLLYWOOD, CA -- The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) will open its Hollywood office and 52 other field offices across the state an hour earlier beginning Monday, July 1.

At the Hollywood location, the only services performed are the renewing of driver's licenses and ID cards.

Starting next week, to help ease customer wait times, the Hollywood office will open at 7 a.m. every weekday except Wednesday. On Wednesdays, the office will continue to open at 9 a.m. on and close at 5 p.m., according to the DMV.

The Hollywood DMV is located at 803 Cole Ave., Hollywood, CA 90038.

Other L.A. County DMV offices that will also open earlier include those in Compton, Glendale, Inglewood, Montebello, Oxnard, Simi Valley, Torrance and Whittier.
