Hollywood Hills Shooting Follows Dispute Between Neighbors: Police
A neighborly dispute in the Hollywood Hills escalated into a shooting Tuesday morning, police said.
HOLLYWOOD, CA — A dispute between neighbors in the Hollywood Hills Tuesday morning escalated into a shooting that sent one man to a hospital, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police responded to the 2200 block of Chelan Place, just east of Runyon Canyon, just before 11 a.m., police said.
The shooting came after a man entered a neighbor's home and refused to leave. The homeowner opened fire and then called 911, ABC 7 reported.

The wounded man was transported to a hospital and is in stable condition. No arrests were immediately made and the incident is under investigation, police said.
