Home-Invasion Attempt Blocked As Resident Shoots At Intruders In L.A.
The Hollywood Hills resident fired at suspected robbers breaking into the home Wednesday morning, Los Angeles police said.
HOLLYWOOD HILLS, CA — An attempted home invasion was thwarted Wednesday in the Hollywood Hills when someone inside the targeted residence fired shots at the suspected robbers.
Officers from the Los Angels Police Department responded at approximately 2:25 a.m. to the 8100 block of Willow Glen Road near Laurel Canyon Boulevard regarding a shots fired call and upon their arrival learned someone inside the residence fired shots at a group of people who attempted a home invasion, LAPD Office Annie Hernandez told City News Service.
The group drove away from the scene in a white Toyota Corolla, Hernandez said.

Fox 11 reported one of the suspects was possibly injured in the shooting.
No property was taken and no one inside the residence was injured, according to police.
