Home Invasion Robbers Hit Hollywood Hills Residence

Two people robbed a multimillion-dollar home in the Hollywood Hills while the homeowners hid inside.

HOLLYWOOD HILLS, CA — Police were seeking two people Saturday who robbed a multimillion-dollar home in the Hollywood Hills while the homeowners hid inside.

The home invasion was reported at 9:55 p.m. Friday in the 1300 block of Sierra Alta Way, near Sunset Boulevard and Doheny Drive, Officer Jeff Lee of the Los Angeles Police Department told City News Service.

"The suspects smashed a window, entered the residence and got away with property," Lee said.

The robbers fled in a vehicle before police officers arrived, he said. No description was immediately available.

It wasn't clear how many residents were inside during the robbery, but ABC7 reported that the residents hid inside a bathroom.

No injuries were reported, and no estimate of the loss was provided.
