LAPD Responding to Barricaded Suspect in Hollywood Hills Area
Police Friday were attempting to negotiate a surrender with an armed suspect who barricaded inside a Hollywood Hills residence.
HOLLYWOOD, CA — Police Friday were attempting to negotiate a surrender with an armed suspect who barricaded inside a Hollywood Hills residence.
Los Angeles Police Department officers were called about 12:50 p.m. to the residence in the 6300 block of Quebec Drive, near the Hollywood Reservoir, on reports of an assault with a deadly weapon, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
No injuries were reported but the suspect refused to exit and officers believed the person to have a firearm. LAPD SWAT units were called to the scene to aid in taking the suspect into custody.
