The man falls from a scaffold at Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler's house.

A man suffered serious injuries Thursday morning when he fell about 15 feet from a scaffold at Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler's house in the Hollywood Hills area, according to authorities and a celebrity news website.

Firefighters went to the 8300 block of Grand View Drive in the Mount Olympus area about 9:35 a.m. to rescue the man, who was on a hillside residential construction site.

The man, believed to be about 30, was hoisted into a fire department helicopter and flown to a hospital, Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

A neighbor told TMZ.com that the worker fell from scaffolding on the back of the building, which is built into the side of a steep hill.
