Man Stabbed Outside Hollywood Bar

HOLLYWOOD, CA — A man was arrested early Wednesday morning after he stabbed someone outside a Hollywood Boulevard bar, according to police.

Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department's Hollywood Division responded to reports of a stabbing at Hollywood Boulevard and Las Palmas Avenue at approximately 1:50 a.m. They learned the victim was stabbed while attempting to break up a fight outside of a bar, an LAPD spokesman said.

The vicim was stabbed in the chest with a pocketknife, KTLA reported.

The suspect was arrested at the scene.

The victim was taken to a hospital in unknown condition, police said.
