Marvel Crew Member Dies In On-Set Fall: Report

STUDIO CITY, CA — A crew member working on Marvel's "Wonder Man" TV series died on set Tuesday after a fall.

Paramedics responded to Radford Studio Center at around 6:45 a.m. following a report that a man had been injured in a fall, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The man fell from a catwalk, the LA Police Department said.

The victim was identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner as Juan Carlos Osorio, 41, of Temple City, who died at the scene.

“Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his family and friends, and our support is behind the investigation into the circumstances of this accident," a Marvel spokesperson told Deadline in a statement.

The man was on set prepping for production to start on "Wonder Man" next month, which had been delayed due to the actors and writers strikes.
