Person Shot At Hollywood & Highland, Suspect In Custody

The victim was in stable condition, according to LAPD Officer William Cooper.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — A person was shot Monday afternoon in the Hollywood & Highland shopping mall. The shooting happened shortly before 4:25 p.m., with callers reporting the incident and reporting that a person was down.

Police said a suspect fled north on Highland Avenue after the shooting, and set up a perimeter in the area, according to LAPD Officer William Cooper. A suspect was later taken into custody by 6:30 p.m.

The injured person was in stable condition, according to Cooper.
