Reward Offered In Celebrity Photographer Hollywood Hit & Run

Authorities believe someone has information that could lead to the arrest of a driver who struck a photographer in Hollywood.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Authorities announced a $25,000 reward Wednesday for information that helps find the hit-and-run motorist who critically injured a celebrity photographer who was struck while crossing a street in Hollywood.

Corentin Villemeur, 34, was injured about 11:25 p.m. Nov. 6 as he was crossing Vine Street north of Hollywood Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The hit-and-run car was described as a silver 2002 four-door Acura, license number 5TBA759, police said. No description was released of the driver.

According to TMZ.com, YouTube star Lele Pons, a friend of Villemeur, witnessed the crash, which happened when the car went through a red light as the victim was in a crosswalk.

"Sources close to Lele tell us Corentin had just attended her performance with Latin singer Karol G at Avalon Hollywood," TMZ reported. "She saw the accident happen as they were leaving the club."

A GoFundMe page established to assist Villemeur had raised more than $166,000 of a $250,000 goal as of Wednesday morning.
