Robbery Suspect Nabbed In Hollywood After Standoff With Police

A robbery suspect surrendered to police Wednesday morning after an overnight standoff in Hollywood, according to the LAPD.

LOS ANGELES -- A robbery suspect surrendered to police Wednesday morning following an overnight standoff at a building in Hollywood.

The man, who's name has not yet been released, was taken into custody about 6 a.m. in the 900 block of Vine Street, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

Officers had gone to the location in response to a report of a robbery about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, the LAPD reported.

According to ABC7, the man was on the roof of a locksmith shop during the standoff, and then surrendered to officers.
