'Star Wars: Episode VIII' Release Date Pushed Back
The movie was originally slated to come out in summer 2017.

Fans will have to wait a little longer for the much-anticipated follow-up to the record-breaking Star Wars movie released in December.
“Star Wars: Episode VIII,” originally slated for release in summer of 2017, will now hit theaters on December 15, 2017, according to a release from Lucasfilm and Disney.
The film will be the second of three new planned installments in the epic space movie series and directed by Rian Johnson.

“Episode VII” smashed box office records, bringing in $861.3 million in the United States and $1,886.7 billion worldwide, according to the release.
Filming on ”Episode VIII” will begin preproduction in London next month.
