Stubborn Blaze Engulfs Hollywood Hills Homes

Crews battled for the better part of an hour to put out a blaze that engulfed a one-story home in the Hollywood Hills.

HOLLYWOOD HILLS, CA — Firefighters needed 46 minutes to extinguish a stubborn blaze in a one-story home in the Hollywood Hills Thursday evening.

Crews responded at 10:16 p.m. to 2200 Hercules Drive and discovered fire shooting through the roof of the home, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

A total of 28 firefighters attacked the flames and knockdown was declared at 11:02 p.m., Humphrey said.
