HOLLYWOOD, CA — Comedian Andy Dick suffered an apparent drug overdose on a Hollywood street Tuesday in an incident that was caught on video, according to a report.

TMZ obtained the video, which shows Dick slumped over on a set of stairs outside a Hollywood building during the day Tuesday.

The video shows bystanders' panicked efforts to save him — one screamed at the comedian to "wake up" while others called for an ambulance. One person administered Narcan, which can reverse opioid overdoses.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene for an overdose involving a 59-year-old man, who was not transported to a hospital, TMZ reported. The representative did not release the patient's identity.

TMZ reached Dick by phone Tuesday night, he said he was relieved he was OK, but would not elaborate on what happened.
