  1. Beaches in Huntington Beach are reopened. Officials noted that water quality testing “showed non-detectable amounts of oil associated toxins.” Out of 40 testing sites, only one tested positive for oil but at a “non-toxic level.” This site is the water just north of Warner Avenue. (SurfCityUSA)
  2. The City is trying to get the mosquitoes under control. The next effort will take place at Harriett M. Wieder Regional Park this week. Look for Vector Control to spray Aqua Duet and Vectobac WDG. (City of HB)
  3. Are you an artist? The HBAC Artist Council wants you! The 2021 Inspired exhibition is ready to accept your artwork. (HuntingtonBeachArtCenter)
  4. The Huntington Beach Walk to End Alzheimer’s is a go for this year. You can still sign up for the Saturday event. Because of the oil spill, the Walk will be moved to Bella Terra at 7645 Edinger Avenue. (Alzheimer’s Association)
